The Transderm Ionto is a powered drug delivery system that is indicated for the local administration of ionic drug solutions into the body for medical purposes and can be used as an alternative to injections. This is the ONLY device FDA cleared as an alternative to injections capable to deliver high molecular weight drugs.

The Transderm Ionto is a Class III medical device and must be used only under Doctor prescription.

How does the Ultrapeel Transderm Ionto System work?

The Ultrapeel Transderm Ionto System is a two-step procedure:

1st Step - Ultrapeel microdermabrasion - Performing Ultrapeel microdermabrasion prior to Dermoelectroporation exfoliates the skin for better penetration of the drug.

(Performing both microdermabrasion and Dermoelectroporation technology, it is possible to get a delivery rate 5 x's that of a topical application)

2nd Step - Dermoelectroporation - Using Mattioli Engineering's newest technology - Dermoelectroporation, doctors are now able to transdermally deliver high molecular weight drugs.

The Transderm Ionto System can be equipped with the following parts and accessories:

Transderm Ionto and Transderm Ionto Lips
Both the Transderm Ionto and Transderm Ionto Lips are devices that allow for the transfer of active substances and drugs through the skin without the use of injections or needles.Both devices use special shaped pulsed currents to transfer alternately positive and negative ions of active substances into the body.

- Transderm Ionto
The Transderm Ionto is equipped with a square head containing nine electrodes that are distributed on a service of 2" x 2". It is intended for treating large surface ares, such as those treated during cellulite and localized fat deposit treatments.

- Transderm Ionto Lips
The Transderm Ionto Lips is equipped with a circle head containing three electrodes that are distributed on a service of 1" in diameter. It is intended for treating small surface areas, such as those treated during skin bio revitalization and skin rejuvenation treatments.

Precision Liquid Dispenser
The Precision Liquid Dispenser controls the delivery of the drug to the electrode cap so that it can be transdermally delivered.

Electrode Caps
The electrode caps allow for the operator to have a continuous flow of drug solution to the patients skin. The electrodes caps are adhesive and were manufactured to fit both the Ionto probe and the Ionto Lips probe.
